Welcome back! The Shaw Auditorium is delighted to present a dynamic lineup of arts and cultural experiences this spring.
A highlight of the season is our annual HKUST Community Musical 2026 showcasing Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel with talented HKUST students, staff, alumni, and community members.
Arts lovers can look forward to concerts including Jazz Valentine Across Times: Fountain de Chopin X Ted Lo, a piano recital by Italian pianist Alessandro Martire, a Women's Day performance, Women in Music and a performance by our students in the Mini Concert by University Philharmonic Orchestra; screenings from the Campus Cinema series, and the workshop The Art of Lines: Moving Drawing Workshop. You are also welcome to share your talents by joining our Open Call for Photography and Lunchtime Performance.
Other meaningful events include IAS Nobel Symposium, and Fireside Chat with Woman CEO in Hong Kong: Leadership and DEI where distinguished speakers will share their inspiring perspectives with the participants.

| HKUST Community Musical 2026 - Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Carousel |

Rodgers & Hammerstein's Carousel is both heartfelt and thought-provoking. Set in a quiet coastal village in early 20th century Maine coastal village, it follows a carnival barker Billy Bigelow and millworker Julie Jordan as they navigate love, hardship, and the consequences of difficult choices. The story explores themes of life, love, death, forgiveness, and eternity in a bittersweet musical that celebrates family, resilience, and the enduring power of redemption. Recommended for ages 12 and up.
