Employees came together to learn the art of repurposing materials, transforming upcycled leather into beautiful and functional trays. From designing unique patterns to crafting personalized trays, everyone walked away with a meaningful creation and a newfound appreciation for sustainable craftsmanship.

People Leader Program @ Apr

|
The People Leader Program has been instrumental in fostering a strong people leader culture within the university, with participants actively embracing and applying the humility leadership principles learned. They have also been utilizing the skills and tools from modules such as courageous conversations, delegating and motivating, empowering leadership, where they appreciate the dynamic and engaging activities, making the learning experience enjoyable and impactful.
Additionally, we have achieved a 75% sign-up rate from Band 7&8 people mamangers and have just completed the last Foundational Program for these bands.

Communicating for Engagement @ Apr 11
|
|
Participants have found practical tools to enhance their daily communication, such as understanding their target audiences and learning how to communicate effectively.
While the last two sessions were nominated by Department Heads, to promote and encourage a learning culture, we ask participants to sign up themselves as well but to check in with their managers before enrolling. As we near the conclusion of the 2024-25 PDR cycle, Appraising Officers are reminded to provide Appraisees with a comprehensive evaluation of their performance from 1 April 2024 to 31 March 2025 in the e-PDR system. The year-end assessment window is currently open and will remain so until 31 May 2025. Timely completion of these assessments is crucial for ensuring the best outcomes from the PDR process.

The "Speak to Persuade" workshop is designed to help participants craft compelling narratives to influence and convince their target audience. The one full-day session will cover structuring and building value visions, choosing the right narrative based on context, and turning data into engaging stories.
