Successful Workshop on Video Production with Mobile Phones

We are thrilled to report that our recent workshop, "Video Production with Mobile Phones" held on April 22, 2026, was a resounding success! More than 40 enthusiastic participants attended the session, where Mr. Shek Kin-shing, former PTC Media production manager at HKUST, shared his expertise in creating engaging videos using mobile devices. The attendees gained valuable insights and practical skills that they can apply in their future projects. Thank you to everyone who joined us for this enlightening experience!

Kids@UST science workshop, Reverse Treasure Hunting, is now open for application! In a treasure-hunting game, the key to outpacing others lies in mastering the ability to interpret scaled diagrams. Our instructors from HKUST will introduce the fundamental concepts of scale representation and guide participants through a structured, progressive approach to decoding the information embedded in maps. Students will also have the opportunity to apply the map-reading techniques learned in class as they navigate various locations across the HKUST campus in search of hidden treasures.
