Snapshots of Singing Bowl Workshop

The Singing Bowl Workshop was successfully held on February 26, 2026. The 45-minute session provided an opportunity for participants to take a moment for themselves, helping to alleviate feelings of overwhelm and stress.

Nowadays anyone with a mobile phone can be a reporter, presenter, interviewer, AV producer…

Do you know the tips to video-tape, edit video clips, and add background music and sound effects with your mobile phone (iPhone or Android OS)?

 

In this workshop, you will learn about:

  • Using a mobile phone for photo shooting, video shooting and recording sounds on the scene
  • Editing video clips with LightCut App on a mobile phone
  • Adding background music and a title to the video

 

Medium of instruction: Cantonese

Quota: 40 HKUST colleagues (first-come-first served; Priority will be given to Staff Association Members.)

Enrichment Program for Gifted Learners (EPGL) – Summer Program 2026 will commence in upcoming July and August, and is now open for online application.

EPGL will offer short courses in various fields: Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Humanities & Arts, Life Science, Mathematics, Anthropology, Social Science and Business & Technology. Students will have the chance to explore the area they are interested in under the guidance of professional instructors and have a taste of the learning and teaching style of a university. All EPGL summer courses will adopt face-to-face teaching and learning mode.
